That means they can typically be removed with a simple polishing technique alone – no paint needed. Second, you should never use the brush that comes with a bottle of touch up paint. Using that brush will apply way too much paint and result in an ugly blob.

2) Magic Scratch Remover Pen
Sorry, but a magic pen will not help you fix scratches on car paint. Don’t be tempted by the “low, low price” of the scratch removing pens you see on TV and in stores. All they do is apply a clear bump of acrylic on your vehicle. The scratch is still there, and it will show up again soon after. Good gimmick, bad waste of money.

3) Cheap store-bought items.
Your local auto parts store will be happy to sell you any number of their hundreds of scratch-removal products. But the vast majority of these products are ineffective and not a complete solution to permanently fix scratches on car paint. In fact, many of them could make the problem worse.
